Can you get Dole Whip in EPCOT?
Unfortunately, you cannot always count on being able to enjoy a Dole Whip at EPCOT. However, the iconic Dole Whip is typically available seasonally during EPCOT’s festivals, especially during the springtime Flower & Garden Festival.
This festival usually runs from March until the end of May or early June.
I think this is the best time of year to visit EPCOT. There are incredible displays of colorful flowers everywhere you turn, fanciful Disney-themed topiaries and beautiful specialty gardens throughout the World Showcase pavilions and World Celebration.
My kids especially love the butterfly garden, where guests can encounter dozens of butterflies fluttering overhead and also enjoy their favorite plants and flowers.
And I haven’t even mentioned the outdoor kitchens serving seasonal small plates during the Flower & Garden Festival. This may be the best thing EPCOT has to offer during festival times. EPCOT hosts festivals pretty much year-round. The exception is in the summer when Disney parks are traditionally at their busiest.
When we visit Walt Disney World during a festival, I like to plan to spend several hours strolling around the World Showcase sampling the different snacks, treats and beverages the outdoor kitchens have to offer.

Where can I get Dole Whip at EPCOT?
During EPCOT’s Flower & Garden Festival, you can typically get a Dole Whip at Refreshment Port. This hexagonal-shaped quick service restaurant is located in the World Showcase between the Port of Entry area and the Canada Pavilion.
If you’re heading into the World Showcase from World Celebration, take a right towards Canada and you’ll spot Refreshment Port on your right. During non-festival times, Refreshment Port serves savory snacks like Poutine and Chicken Nuggets.
They also have soft-serve waffle cones for those seeking a sweet treat. In recent years, guests have also been able to find Dole Whip cups and Dole Whip floats on the menu at the Pineapple Promenade booth.
This outdoor kitchen is located near the Port of Entry connecting the World Showcase to World Celebration. It’s pretty close to Refreshment Port, actually.
If your Disney vacation isn’t happening during EPCOT’s Flower & Garden Festival, no worries! You can always find a Dole Whip at its original location in Magic Kingdom Park.
This delicious treat is available year-round at Disney Springs, Typhoon Lagoon, Animal Kingdom and Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.
What exactly is Dole Whip?
A Dole Whip is a pineapple-flavored frozen soft-serve treat. It’s been a staple in the world of Disney snacks since 1984 when it debuted at the Magic Kingdom. Although it tastes like pineapple ice cream, it’s actually dairy-free. It’s available by itself in a cup or you can choose a Dole Whip Float with pineapple juice.
It was originally offered only at Aloha Isle in Adventureland just outside the Enchanted Tiki Room. They’re still serving it there – but you can also find it at several other locations in the Walt Disney World Resort. It’s also served at Disneyland Park in California!

Where else can I get a Dole Whip?
At Animal Kingdom, you can find Dole Whips at Tamu Tamu Refreshments in the Africa section of the park. Here you can try the original Dole Whip cup or pineapple float.
They also offer a twist on the original treat with variations served with sour apple syrup (Scar’s Lair) or pineapple and strawberry topping (Simba Sunset). Typhoon Lagoon (one of Disney World’s two water parks) serves several tropical flavors of Dole Whips.
Their menu has options including pineapple, lime, mango and raspberry. You can find these popular treats at Typhoon Lagoon’s Snack Shack.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios does not serve Dole Whips. If you’re looking for a cold, refreshing and fruity treat at this park, you do have some good options. I recommend trying Blue Milk or Green Milk in Star War’s Galaxy’s Edge.
You can also find a Root Beer Float or Grown-Up’s Lemonade at Woody’s Lunch Box in Toy Story Land.

What’s the next best thing to Dole Whip at Hollywood Studios?
If you’re at Hollywood Studios and simply MUST satisfy your pineapple craving, your closest option is a Dole Whip Smoothie at Boardwalk Joe’s Marvelous Margaritas.
You have options for how to get to Disney’s Boardwalk Resort from Hollywood Studios. Taking the sidewalk to Crescent Lake, a 15-minute walk, will probably get you there the quickest.
You can also hop in a Friendship Boat, which will stop at several other hotels on the way to the Boardwalk. The stops include Walt Disney World Swan & Dolphin Resorts, Disney’s Yacht Club Resort and Disney’s Boardwalk Resort.
After the stop at the Boardwalk, the Friendship Boats continue to the International Gateway entrance of EPCOT before turning back and repeating their route back to Hollywood Studios. The Friendship Boats will probably take more time than walking, but it’s a fun scenic trip if you’re not in a hurry.
Taking the Disney Skyliner is another option, although plan for it to take at least 30 minutes since there is no direct service between Hollywood Studios and EPCOT. You’ll have to take one Gondola to Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort and then transfer to the line that will take you to EPCOT via Disney’s Riviera Resort.
Once you arrive at the EPCOT station, it’s a short walk to the Boardwalk. Or you can take a quick ride on the Friendship Boat if you’re a Disney transportation enthusiast.
Are Dole Whips available outside the Disney theme parks?
You can also find Dole Whips at several locations outside Disney’s theme parks. Look for Dole Whips Flights and Dole Whip Pineapple Vanilla Nachos (made with waffle cone “chips”) at Swirls on the Water in Disney Springs. Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort has options for satisfying your Dole Whip fix.
Pineapple Lanai serves the classic Dole Whip as well as a variety of other Dole Whip flavors.
Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto doesn’t serve the classic pineapple Dole Whip. However, they do have several beverages on their menu if you’re looking for an adult version of this tasty treat.
For example, they offer Spikey Pineapple blends Barbancourt Pango Rhum with pineapple soft serve. And the Tiki Tiki Tiki Tiki Tiki Rum features pineapple juice, cream of coconut and orange juice with a dusting of cinnamon and nutmeg.
If you’re not able to snag a reservation at Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto at the Polynesian Resort, check out Trader Sam’s Tiki Terrace.
This outdoor lounge has the same menu. Grab a drink to go and head toward the Polynesian resort’s beach. It’s a perfect spot to watch the Electrical Water Pageant on the Seven Seas Lagoon.
You can also get a unique view of the Magic Kingdom fireworks across the water.
