News flash: It’s frequently hot in Florida. So what’s the best way to beat the Florida heat?

Leave? Well, that seems extreme. Maybe head to the grocer’s frozen foods section? Boring. Swim? Yes. But eventually, you have to get out.

How about a refreshing treat associated with Disney vacations from all over the world?

Where can you find Dole Whip in Disney World?

If you want Dole Whip at Disney, the first place to go is the Magic Kingdom, where multiple stands sell the delicious treat.

But the truth is, Dole Whip is available all over the Disney complex if you know where to look. Luckily, we know where to look. Here are the best places to find Dole Whip in Walt Disney World:

Editor’s Note: Locations and selections are subject to change at the whims of Bob Iger.

1. Aloha Isle

Magic Kingdom, Adventureland

At this location, you can get the Tropical Serenade Dole Whip. It has pineapple-orange-guava juice, coconut soft-serve and an upside-down pineapple cake pop to top things off.

However, in my opinion, the Pineapple Float is the best of the Dole Whip floats. It comes with Dole pineapple juice served with a choice of pineapple, vanilla or swirl. Trust me, get the swirl.

They also have a Raspberry Swirl Float Pineapple Upside-Down Cake. You can
get this treat topped with pineapple, vanilla or swirl. Additionally, there is a Pineapple Dole Whip, Raspberry Swirl Cup or the choice of Coconut Cup.

Personally, the coconut flavor is my least favorite.

2. Sunshine Tree Terrace

Magic Kingdom, Adventureland

Sunshine Tree is my favorite of the Dole Whip purveyors because I’m partial to the Dole Whip Orange.

There are a pair of limited-time offerings, such as The Orange Bird Sipper Float. You choose the float type which is also a cool little souvenir. I’m irrationally fond of Orange Bird. Or you could get the Orange Bird Sipper which is served with, appropriately, Dole Whip Orange.

Other Dole Whip options at the stand include a Dole Whip Orange Cup, an Orange Cream Soft-serve Cup, which has an orange and vanilla swirl, and the Dole Whip Strawberry Cup.

My advice? Don’t sleep on the Strawberry Cup. It’s surely a very underrated Dole Whip flavor to my way of thinking.

Additionally, there are several floats available including the I Lava You Float, which has Fanta Strawberry Soda and passion fruit flavor served with Dole Whip Orange and topped with popping candy. In other words, it’s a busy little dessert drink.

Also, the stand has a variety of beverages from which you can choose to make your float including a Barq’s Root Beer Float, Coca-Cola Float, Diet Coke Float, Fanta Orange Float, Sprite Float, Fanta Strawberry Float and Powerade Mountain Berry Blast Float.

But if I’m being honest, the Powerade idea strikes me as a bit off-putting.

In addition to Dole Whip offerings, Sunshine Tree also sells fried pot stickers and a variety of non-Dole Whip soft-serve treats.

3. Storybook Treats

Magic Kingdom, Fantasyland

This Fantasyland quick service stand is located next to the Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh and sells a variety of ice cream options.

It’s now home to the Aurora Cone – which is a Dole Whip Strawberry and Blue soft serve in a sugar cone topped with white chocolate pearls.

4. Tamu Tamu Refreshments

Animal Kingdom, Harambe Village

Tamu Tamu, located in the Africa section of the Animal Kingdom, has a walk-up window, and the eatery offers a variety of Dole Whip treats.

Dole Whip offerings include the classic Simba Sunset, made with Dole Whip Pineapple and Strawberry to celebrate the future king of the Pride Lands.

You can also get the Dole Whip Pineapple Float or the Dole Whip Pineapple Cup

Here’s to hoping they bring back the Scar’s Lair which featured Sour Apple Dole Whip.

Dole Whip offerings with alcohol include King’s Cooler, which features Dole Whip Pineapple topped with Parrot Bay Coconut Rum and Strawberry or the Dole Whip Pineapple Cup, which has Parrot Bay Coconut Rum.

Finally, you can also choose the Dole Whip Pineapple Float with Parrot Bay Coconut Rum.

5. Trilo-Bites

Animal Kingdom, Dinoland U.S.A

There aren’t as many selections available here.

But you do have the Trilo-Bites Twist, which is currently made with Dole Whip Orange and vanilla soft-serve ice cream. Although, offerings may vary.

Dole Whip Nacho Type Bowls

6. Swirls on the Water

Disney Springs, Marketplace

This stand offers daily soft-serve swirl flavors as well as a variety of floats and alcoholic beverages featuring Dole Whip.

Daily Dole Whip swirl options include lime, watermelon, mango and pineapple flavors.

Specialty offerings include the Watermelon-Lime Cone with Dole Whip Watermelon swirled with Dole Whip Lime and topped with a Mickey-shaped watermelon. It’s also served on a vanilla cone.

Also, the Orange Bird Sundae is a limited-time offering that features Dole Whip Orange in a vanilla waffle bowl with whipped cream, green sprinkles and an orange bird chocolate decoration.

They have the classic Dole Whip Float, with pineapple juice and Dole Whip Pineapple.

Having trouble deciding? I suggest trying the Dole Whip Sampler. As you might expect, this one has a bit of each Dole Whip flavor available at Swirls on the Water.

Among the Dole Whip options with alcohol is the self-explanatory Dole Whip Angry Orchard Float.

Also served is the very popular Dole Whip Margarita Float, which comes with Dole Whip Mango swirled with habanero soft-serve with Patrón Silver Tequila and Grand Marnier Liqueur topped with chili-lime seasoning and a lime wedge.

Alternatively, you can get a float topped with rum, choosing from Captain Morgan Original Spiced Rum or Malibu Coconut Rum.

The wonderful but impractical Dole Whip Nachos are currently off the menu.

7. The Basket at Wine Bar George

Disney Springs, The Landing

This high-end Disney Springs eatery with a massive wine selection also has a couple of frozen drinks featuring Dole Whip. Are these Dole Whip smoothies made with alcohol? I reckon they are.

For example, the Frozcato is made with Dole Whip Pineapple, Moscato, vodka and pineapple.

The Frozen Old Fashioned is made with Dole Whip Orange with George Dickel Tennessee Whiskey. The Frozcato Mimosa is made with Dole Whip Pineapple Moscato, pineapple and prosecco.

These are also available at the larger Wine Bar George.

8. Boardwalk Joe’s Marvelous Margaritas

Disney’s Boardwalk, EPCOT Resorts Blvd

In addition to a variety of frozen margarita drinks, you can score the Captain’s Seaside Sensation here, which is a Dole Whip Pineapple smoothie with Captain Morgan Original Spiced Rum.

9. The Snack Shack

Typhoon Lagoon Waterpark

The Snack Shack offers a couple of Dole Whip soft serve cones including the Hei Hei Cone, which has Dole Whip Pineapple and Raspberry named in honor of Moana’s chicken friend and the Moana Cone with Dole Whip Strawberry and Vanilla in a white chocolate dipped cone.

Dole Whip soft-serve offered at the stand includes pineapple, vanilla, mango, watermelon or raspberry. Add El Jimador Silver Tequila, Parrot Bay Coconut Rum or Myer’s Dark Rum to boozy up your Dole Whip.

Also on the menu at the time of this writing is the Kungaloosh Kooler. The drink consists of Dole Whip Strawberry mixed with Captain Morgan Spiced Rum, Myer’s Dark Rum, Bols Blackberry Brandy Liquor, Minute Maid orange juice and a splash of Fanta strawberry.

When Blizzard Beach was open, the Warming Hut had Dole Whip as well. We presume it may return.

As always, menu items are subject to change.

10. Trader Sam’s Tiki Terrace

Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort

The Polynesian Resort is a great place to get Dole Whip.

Of the many clever and imaginative drinks at Trader Sam’s, only the Spikey Pineapple, which has Cruzan Mango Rum blended with Dole Whip Pineapple, has the blessed Dole Whip.

11. Pineapple Lanai

Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort

Located just outside the Great Ceremonial House at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, the Pineapple Lanai offers traditional soft serve swirls and floats, which are also available in souvenir Tiki Sippers.

Dole Whip offerings are Dole Whip in pineapple, vanilla or a swirl as well as the Dole Whip with Rum Floater with Parrot Bay Coconut Rum or the Pineapple Float.

12. Oasis Bar & Grill

Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort

Among the many offerings at this poolside bar and grill include the Frozen Margarita with Dole Whip Lime, which uses Corazón Blanco Tequila blended with Dole Whip Lime and chili-lime seasoning.

They also have the Frosty Pineapple, which is Dole Whip Pineapple with Captain Morgan Private Stock Rum.

13. Barefoot Pool Bar

Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort

This location has the same offerings as the Oasis Bar & Grill.

14. The Backstretch Pool Bar

Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa

This location offers seasonal flavors of Dole Whip in a soft serve cup or cone.

15. Silver Screen Spirits Pool Bar

Dole Whip from the Refreshment Port

Can you find Dole Whip at EPCOT?

Neither the Refreshment Port nor the Refreshment Outpost currently offers Dole Whip. This seems like a surprising, missed opportunity for Disney’s foodie park.

However, Dole Whip does pop up as a seasonal offering at some of the park’s four annual festivals. But currently, EPCOT is sans Dole Whip.

Does Hollywood Studios have Dole Whip?

Hollywood Studios ain’t got no Dole Whip. Apparently, we can’t have Dole Whip in a Galaxy far, far away.

Is Dole Whip exclusive to Disney?

Although Dole Whip is frequently thought of as a Disney treat, it is not exclusive to the Disney resort parks. Its availability appears to be spreading.

In fact, we were traveling on I-95 in North Carolina recently and a massive roadside gas station complex advertised Dole Whip.

Also, in May of 2023, it was announced grocery stores will soon be able to carry Dole Whip in their frozen food department.

It seems unlikely that it will be as good, but you can try the strawberry, mango and classic pineapple Dole Whip flavors to find out yourself.

One thing is clear, however, you won’t have to wait for your Disney vacations for your Dole Whip treat.
