Morgan is the founder Morgan Media LLC, a graphic design agency and the co-founder of TheSmokies.com LLC – a media company that specializes in regional travel sites including TheSmokies.com, HeyOrlando.com and MiamiTake.com.

About Morgan Overholt, Co-Founder of HeyOrlando.com

Morgan and her business partners Alaina (her sister) and James (her husband) were bitten by the “blogging bug” in 2020 when they launched their original concept – TheSmokies.com, an homage to Morgan’s hometown in Tennessee.

What started out as a passion project quickly turned into a roaring success.

Today, TheSmokies.com generates 4-6 million pageviews per year.

In the footsteps of that original success, Morgan and her team launched HeyOrlando.com in 2022 – a nod to one of her favorite vacation destinations and an area she holds near and dear to her heart.

One of her first dates with her husband James was at Universal Studios Orlando. They stayed at the Portofino and were serenaded while they wined and dined at Mama Della’s.

Morgan’s sister Alaina got engaged in Hogsmeade.

Morgan has appeared in nationally recognized publications including Business Insider, Parade Magazine and Refinery29.
