Breakfast at Hollywood Studios: Best places to eat in the morning

For those who want to head straight to the park early, these breakfast tips at Hollywood Studios are for you.

Do they serve breakfast at Hollywood Studios?

Yes! In fact, Disney’s Hollywood Studios has lots of options for quick breakfast bites. And they offer a Disney Junior Character Breakfast.

Let’s explore the best places for breakfast at this popular park.

Are there table service breakfast options at Hollywood Studios?

Hollywood Studios has several popular and beloved table service restaurants. The list includes Hollywood Brown Derby, 50’s Prime Time Café and Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater.

During breakfast hours there is only one table service option. And it’s a character meal.

I suggest getting an advanced dining reservation at Hollywood & Vine. However, they also offer a limited capacity walk-up list. So if you can’t secure a reservation, be sure to swing by Hollywood & Vine to join the list as early as possible.

You can also check the My Disney Experience App to see whether the list is at capacity.

How do you get early breakfast at Hollywood Studios?

It’s possible to make an advanced dining reservation at Hollywood & Vine before the park opens.

For example, you might be able to secure a reservation at 8:30 am on a day that the park opens at 9 am. In this case, you will be allowed to enter the park early.

Is Hollywood and Vine breakfast a buffet?

No. Hollywood & Vine now serves breakfast with a hybrid family style and an a la carte menu.

Your table will share a basket of pastries, including monkey bread and assorted mini muffins. In addition, each guest can choose from a selection of entrees like pancakes, French toast, omelets, frittata or scrambled eggs and hash. And those with a big appetite will be pleased to learn that the pancake stacks are all-you-can-eat.

Hollywood & Vine also offers allergy-friendly menu options.

During breakfast, Disney Junior characters make their rounds to wave hello to diners from a safe distance. Characters you might see include Vampirina, Roadster Goofy, Fancy Nancy and Doc McStuffins.

What are the quick service breakfast options at Hollywood Studios?

Disney’s Hollywood Studios has three quick-service restaurants that serve breakfast beginning between 8-8:30 am.

The quick-service locations transition to a lunch menu between 10:30-11 am. However, the specific hours are subject to change. With that in mind, be sure to check the My Disney Experience App for the most up-to-date hours and menu information.

Quick-service breakfast spots are spread out in different areas of the park. No matter where you are in Hollywood Studios, you’ll be able to fuel up with some great food for the most important meal of the day.

1. Hollywood Scoops

Hollywood Scoops is located on Sunset Boulevard near the Tower of Terror and Rockin’ Roller Coaster. For most of the day, they serve ice cream cones and sundaes. But during breakfast hours they serve Mickey waffles with your choice of syrup or fresh blueberries and whipped cream.

And you can also grab a cup of Joffrey’s coffee, bottled water, and even some breakfast cocktails like a Mimosa or Bloody Mary.

2. Woody’s Lunch Box

If you find yourself in Toy Story Land early in your day, stop by Woody’s Lunch Box for a Breakfast Bowl with potato barrels (a.k.a. tater tots) and brisket country gravy.

Woody’s Lunch Box also serves a variety of lunch box tarts, which are basically homemade (or at least theme-park-made) Pop-Tarts. Fillings include peanut banana-fudge, chocolate-hazelnut spread, lemon-blueberry and raspberry.

And Woody’s Lunch Box offers hot beverages like coffee, tea, or hot cocoa. They also serve cold beverages like fountain drinks, bottled water, juice and milk.

3. Ronto Roasters

At Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge, Ronto Roasters is the best option. The breakfast menu includes only two entrees. However, each one can be customized to meet a variety of dietary needs and preferences.

The Ronto Morning Wrap puts a twist on the popular Ronto Wrap with grilled pork sausage, eggs, and shredded cheese folded into a warm pita.

And if you prefer a vegetarian breakfast, you can order a breakfast wrap without the sausage. Another vegetarian option is the Rising Moons Overnight Oats. The oats are served with bright pink dragon fruit, yogurt, and seasonal fresh fruit.

In addition to these plant-based options, Ronto Roasters also has an allergy-friendly menu. Detailed descriptions of these menu items can be found in the My Disney Experience App.

Stop by the Milk Stand to wash it all down with some blue or green milk.

Pro tip: take advantage of Mobile Ordering to avoid long lines. This service is available at Ronto Roasters, Milk Stand and Woody’s Lunch Box.

What if I want breakfast later in the morning?

Obviously, not everyone is the early-riser type. For example, the quick service locations have switched over to their lunch menus by the time you’re ready for breakfast. Accordingly, the best options for quick on-the-go anytime breakfast at Disney parks are Coffee shops and Joffrey’s kiosks.

1. Joffrey’s kiosks

At Hollywood Studios there are two Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Company locations. One is at the end of Sunset Boulevard near the Tower of Terror. There is another in Pixar Place near the entrance to Toy Story Land.

Joffrey’s offers fresh-brewed drip coffee, hot teas, customizable espresso beverages like lattes and cappuccinos, chai tea lattes and hot chocolate.

Joffrey’s also serves iced coffee, cold brew, iced tea, and frozen coffees for when you need to beat the central Florida heat. You’ll even find a selection of specialty cocktail beverages featuring vodka blended with frozen lemonade or stirred into iced coffee.

2. Trolley Car Café

The Trolley Car Café is located on Hollywood Boulevard just past the park entrance. It’s a Starbucks in disguise, just like the Magic Kingdom’s Main Street Bakery and Creature Comforts at Animal Kingdom.

You’ll find all your familiar favorites on their menu like frappuccino, Refreshers, cold brew, espresso beverages, tea and coffee. They also serve savory breakfast sandwiches and pastries for those with a sweet tooth.

If you’ve heard of Hollywood Studios’ famous Carrot Cake Cookie, The Trolley Car Café is where you can find one.

This shareable signature treat is a long-time fan favorite. It’s called a cookie because of its shape, but it’s really two discs of soft carrot cake filled with cream cheese icing like a sandwich cookie. It’s delicious and it’s one of my personal favorite treats in the Walt Disney World Resort. Plus, it has vegetables in it, so it counts as breakfast when you’re on vacation!
